"The Marquis Fauberg hotel, in a quiet street in the centre of Paris, is a real discovery. The former home of the Marquis - it is like stepping back in time visiting a private property. There isn't a bar or a restaurant (apart from breakfast) making it feel even more like a private residence than a hotel. It is surrounded by restaurants and bars so this is not a problem - we considered it a bonus. Our room was sumptuously furnished with a beautiful marble bathroom and a little private terrace."

"Absolutely exceptional from start to finish, great welcome, our suite was really spacious, we got an upgrade upon arrival, very comfortable beds, loved the decor, location is to die for and Lafayette is just opposite (new high-end restaurant which is a must) - what else would you want? We’ve rebooked for the end of March and that says it all."

We had a lovely suite at the back of the hotel overlooking the courtyard which was extremely quiet with excellent silent air conditioning. The location is superb."

"The location is excellent—right in the heart of the city, yet surprisingly quiet. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Directly across is the highly recommended Lafayette restaurant."

"If you are looking for a small, quaint, high quailty city hotel, this is a great choice in my opinion. The suite we stayed in was decorated to a really high standard, Good size bathroom, bar area in the corridor, great size living room and the main bedroom was also a great size overlooking the courtyard and a walk in closet with ample space. I stayed with a family of 4 and was sufficient in size. Parking at the rear of the hotel with ease. Staff were pleasant and were available whenever we needed. We didn't use the gym or spa so cannot comment. The breakfast was good with the usual choice. We basically had the dining area to ourselves, which was lovely and personal which pretty much sums up this hotel. The Hotel had pretty much all things you would normally expect if you wanted. The location was amazing. Pretty much a stones throw from the Pl. de la Concorde so we could walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go. Plenty of good quality restaurants nearby."
